Using The 5 Elements & 4 Seasons For Love Compatibility
You have read my previous articles about the
various methods of determining love compatibility. Today, you will discover
a more accurate way of analyzing love compatibility.
In the ancient times in China, before any
marriage, the parents of both parties will hand over their child's 8
characters (i.e. the date and hour of birth) to the astrologer to determine
their compatibility. You will learn how astrologers determine compatibility
based on 8 characters by the time you finish this entire article.
The foundation of all these is based on the 5
elements. Let me list them out for you...
1. Metal
2.Wood
3.Water
4.Fire
5.Earth
There is a cycle of production and a cycle of
destruction for these 5 elements. When these 5 elements are in harmony in a
set of 8 characters, this person is said to be born "lucky". (I will talk
more about this another time).
The cycle of production goes like
this...metal produces water, water produces wood, wood produces fire, fire
produces earth and earth produces metal.
The cycle of destruction goes this way...
metal destroys wood, wood destroys earth, earth destroys water, water
destroys fire and fire destroys metal.
When astrologers determine compatibility,
they will check both parties' 8 characters and see if the elements are
balanced. Both parties' elements should complement each other.
Let me give you an example...
If you have a lot of fire in your 8
characters, you would be very compatible with someone with a lot of water in
his/her 8 characters.
Reason is because your elements balance out.
If you have too much fire and you meet
someone who also has a lot of fire, then you would not be compatible.
Now, I'm going to share with you a method
that doesn't require you to have a lot of knowledge on 8 characters. Just by
knowing the seasons, you are able to know how compatible you are with your
partner.
You probably know the 4 seasons. For each of
the 4 season, there is a dominant element. Let me list them out for you...
Spring - Wood
Summer - Fire
Autumn - Metal
Winter - Water
If you are born in Spring, you will have a
lot of wood. You will be more compatible with someone born in Autumn.
Because Metal balances the surplus of Wood in your 8 characters.
One more example, if you are born in Summer,
you will need water to balance your fire. Therefore you need a partner born
in Winter to "provide" you with the water to reduce your fire.
For your convenience, I will list out the
different period of the seasons. Just follow this list and you can easily
tell who is compatible with you.
Spring - 19th February to 5th May
Summer - 6th May to 6th August
Autumn - 7th August to 7th November
Winter - 8th November to 18th February of the
following year
*Note 1: Although 7th October to 7th November
is under the Autumn season, but this month is also considered a Fire month.
If you are born in this period, please treat yourself as a Fire person. You
will need water.
*Note 2: For the seasons listed above, you
need to plus or minus 1 day in certain years because the season may start
one day early or one day late.
Now, with this information in your hands, you
will begin to understand why you like certain people and why you dislike
others.
An interesting note...have you ever
encountered a person where you seem to do everything right in front of
him/her? But when you are in front of another person, you seem to do
everything wrong unintentionally.
Now you know why...the person you do
everything right in front of has the elements you need, whereas the other
person has elements that are unfavorable to you.
You may also notice something...some of the
people may be born in the same season as you. But why is it that you still
get along with them well?
Let me explain...there is another thing
called the luck pillar. This luck pillar changes every 5 years. People get
together because of elements. That person born in the same season as you may
be going through a luck pillar that is favorable to you. That's why you
"click".
But as for how to determine the luck pillar,
it's too complex for me to explain here. You can read it up on books on 8
characters.
